I wanted to record some output from an experimental device and in the moment of pluggin it in it caused a hum noise mixture. It sounded nice for something percussive. An up-close recording of a single cricket chirping. I recorded this with a shure beta 57a microphone, at my house, with the mic a few inches away from one of my housemate's crickets (don't ask). I used cubase and izotope denoise to remove noise artifacts, as well as a low-cut to remove unwanted low freqs. Recorded in mono but exported in stereo, so both the left and right audio channels are the same.

It was quite windy and the rain hit the windows really hard. The wind tinkled the lamp. I recorded this sound by positioning a rode nt1 a few decimeters away from the lamp. We are back in germany and its raining again! i opened the window an little bit and recorded with my roland binaural mics the rain and raindrops that are falling from the window! you can clearly hear the drops but sometimes you have a little wind noise. Recorded with roand binaural microphones and zoom h1 in 96/24.

Field recording of a summer afternoon (28th june, ~20:30) in berlin lichtenberg. The recorder (edirol r-09rh) was set in a very high building, therefore the sound consists mainly of ambient noise, eventually with subtle concrete sounds (birds, childs, dogs, sirens,. . . ). The audio is unfiltered, so it's dominated by low-frequency energy. Filter as you wish :). (the web preview seems to have some high frequency artifacts. This is the second part of an audio filtering project (in general, signal processing). This sample shows a noisy recording of my voice, after transforming the signal using the xft (extended fourier transform), applying a filter to cut some frequencies and later applying the inverse xft. All this done with an algorithm in matlab or mathematica written by me. Check the recording before the filtering process by hearing the file "holaoriginal. Wav" and please comment.

I recorded this groove at an art gallery. This exhibition was about bergama. It was very annoying when listen clean. Because original recording of this location is for the investing people for the spesific idea. It is already progressive grooving but after noise reduction and filtering audio, i explore an interesting groove again. It was more progressive than the others. Just did a video where a man was rolling down a hill hitting rocks and bumps along the way. This is a public domain free to use for any purpose. I recorded this in my audio studio with a simple large diaphragm condenser mic dry. It's supposed to sound a bit corny!.

Here is a clip i recorded using a canon gl1 and a audiotechnica shotgun mic(unsure of model number, a cheap one i'm sure). The clip contains thesound of me clinking a fork around inside of a bowl (sounds likesomeone eating) and pouring water into a glass as well as a bowl. Thegain might need to be increased as the audio is low.
